Be Better in 2014

Always a time of reflection, the New Year brings with it an opportunity to learn from past 12 months and assert that wisdom to be better in 2014. We all know that the financial crisis of 2007-2008 took an enormous toll on the U.S. economy. While some businesses have been more affected than others, many have persevered by learning to be nimble, more resilient, and much more efficient. We taught ourselves how to do more with less and work smarter, not harder.

And look at what’s happened: According to the U.S. Department of Labor, unemployment has declined to 7%, and Morgan Stanley projects a further drop down to 6.5% in the fourth quarter of 2014 and 6% by the middle of 2015.

While it’s important for us to celebrate this bright spot, I caution each and every one of us to truly learn from our experience of becoming more efficient and productive. We must avoid falling back into our old habits, and we must push ourselves to keep finding new, innovative ways of improving our workforces. We need to continue to be better.

At nettime solutions, our mission is to embrace technology to deliver secure, innovative, cloud-based workforce management solutions for forward thinking organizations like yours. We have extensive experience exclusively developing cloud-based technology, plus the ability to rapidly advance our software and respond to client needs. We foster a culture of accessibility and celebrate a true willingness to invest both in ourselves, and in the markets we serve. And, at the end of the day, we exist to make our clients’ business lives better.

We do this by helping organizations make informed workforce decisions using business intelligence based on real-time customer time and labor management data, allowing managers to drill down into the true costs associates with every location, every department, and every employee.

We help organizations protect their most valuable assets (their employees), so their HR and IT departments are spending their time on the most mission-critical aspects of their jobs, rather than wasting time drowning in paper timesheets and maintaining on-site servers.

And, we help organizations maintain compliance with local, state and federal labor laws, such as those found in the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
