1. What operating system(s) does NETtime run on and database server?
NETtime is written in pure HTML and is accessed via a web browser; it can be accessed from any machine, running any operating system that has a browser installed on it. NETtime utilizes Microsoft 2000 as a database engine.

2. Which browsers will NETtime run on? Mozilla? Internet Explorer? Safari?
NETtime is written in pure HTML which means it can be run on any web browser, including Internet Explorer, NETscape, Safari, and Mozilla.

3. Which payroll applications does NETtime interface to?
NETtime can interface to any payroll application that can import time sheet data. We have pre-built interfaces for all of the major payroll applications, and we can customize one for any application that you need.

4. What formats can your reports be output to?
NETtime reports can be generated in a number of standard formats, including PDF (Adobe Acrobat), RTF (Word), Excel, and TIFF (image file)

5. Can I automate reports?
Yes, NETtime allows you to schedule reports to run at any time. NETtime provides users the ability to schedule a one-time report, or a recurring report that is generated as often as you need it such as weekly. In addition to scheduling the report to run, you can have the report emailed to you or other individuals.

6. I have different divisions with payroll rules; how can that be accommodated?
Each unique group of employees can have their own payroll rules/policies within NETtime. NETtime allows an unlimited number of payroll policies which can be assigned to groups of people or individual employees.

7. How many valid fields such as pay types, departments, etc., can I have in the system?
NETtime supports an unlimited number of pay types, departments, etc., within the system.

8. Does the system handle shift differentials?
Yes, NETtime can calculate your shift differentials based on percentages or additional dollar amounts.

9. Can I import employee data from my HR/payroll system?
Yes, NETtime contains a standard import utility that allows you to import employee data from any source. In addition to the standard import feature, NETtime has pre-written interfaces for some major payroll systems, and we can write a custom import for any system that you may need.

10. Can NETtime accommodate multiple payroll frequencies?
Yes, NETtime can accommodate multiple payroll frequencies. Each payroll policy that is created can have a different payroll frequency.

11. Does NETtime contain audit history?
NETtime contains a history of every transaction that is added, deleted or modified. The audit history is searchable, and you can display all of the changes made to a specific employee, by a specific manager, and within specific date ranges.

12. Can the system accommodate job costing?
Yes, NETtime can accommodate an unlimited number of jobs/tasks/etc, known as labor levels. You can also set a pay rate for each employee that works on that job, or you can set a global pay rate for all employees that work that specific job. In addition to the pay rate, you can create a charge rate to be billed for that specific job or project.

13. Does NETtime use Java applets or Active X controls?
No, NETtime does not utilize any Java applets or Active X controls, for a number of reasons. The two largest reasons are security and accessibility. Java applets have associated security risks and the best way to avoid them is to not utilize them. Accessibility can also be an issue because every web browser may not be able to access the Java applets.

14. Do I host the software myself?
NETtime hosts all files including your database on our servers at the world class AT&T data center in Mesa, Arizona. 

15. What types of data collection options do I have with NETtime?
With NETtime you can utilize hardware terminals (biometric hand readers, badge readers, proximity readers), web-based clocking and time sheet submittals, and Telephony.

a. NETtime supports any combination of the data collection options available.
b. Biometric hardware terminals, including Hand Readers and LG’s iris recognition system, are available for use with NETtime.
c. NETtime can be used with our Telephony system which allows employees to call in to the system and record their punches, labor transfers, and they can enter blocks of time.
d. NETtime can be integrated with IVR Telephony; allowing users to clock in/out, transfer labor levels, as well as many other tasks from their Phone.

What are NETtime's system requirements?
Access the service from any machine running any operating system with a web browser and an internet connection. And, since NETtime™ is a 100% SaaS solution, you can use the service with any modern browser: Internet Explorer, Netscape, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, or even Konqueror.

How are users billed for the service?
Users are billed on a per-employee-per-month basis. You are only charged for active employees and there is never an additional charge for supervisory or managerial access.

Can I Schedule A Report To Generate Automatically?
Absolutely. NETtime provides users the ability to schedule a one-time report, or a recurring report that is generated as often as you need (daily, weekly, monthly). You can also have reports automatically emailed to you or to others.
