Volume VIII, May 2012
Check Out the New NETtime Solutions Web SiteWe recently launched our new web site. It has straightforward navigation and concise messaging. You will find all prior issues of our newsletters at http://www.nettimesolutions.com/newsletters/ or on the "dig deeper" menu.
We have released a new custom feature to help companies track employee attendance against their organization's attendance policies. Companies can define policies that will be evaluated on a rolling look back basis. Notices for disciplinary action can be created with set language so that policies can be consistently documented and enforced throughout the organization. Take a look at the improvements we've made to NETtime since our last newsletter.
Express Scheduler
We added the option to use employees' default labor levels. They will not display, but will post to the schedule.
We also added the ability to create schedules for multiple weeks.
1. The existing express schedule page you are editing will be week 1, so the copy will not create a second new week if the dropdown default is left at 1 week.
2. If there was already scheduled time existing for an individual, that time will not copy out to other weeks on the Apply. You will have to clear the schedule, and then redo it for it to copy to other weeks.
3. The dropdown control is at the very bottom of the page, so if you have a long list of employees, you will need to scroll down and select your number of weeks and apply changes there.
Time Off Calendar View Modification
We added an option so that an employee can only see their own entries on the calendar.
Employees with No Time Worked Report
We added the option to exclude employees with non-work time.
Filtered Generic Payroll Export
This new version of the Generic Payroll Export allows you to include only selected non-work Pay Types in the export.
Labor Level Details Report
We added the ability to hide inactive labor levels. If inactive labor levels aren't hidden, the report marks inactive labor levels as [INACTIVE].
Generic Payroll Export with Notes
We added the ability to include headers.
Projected Wages Report
We added employees' full names to the report.
Complete Employee Information Export
We added an option to include labor level codes.
Failed Clock Transactions Report
We added the ability to run for a date range.
Benefit Liability CSV Export
We added an option to use labor level codes instead of descriptions.
Schedules Templates
We added the ability to copy existing schedule templates.
