3 Questions About Providing Great Employee Experiences

At the closing of each public webinar that we offer, there are always so many interesting questions from our attendees who join us live for the event. In last month’s webinar on providing great employee experiences there were three questions that we believe many others may have as well:
We have issues with employees punching in for each other because they know each other’s IDs and passwords. Is there an easy way to secure that process?
Yes! We refer to this behavior as “buddy punching.” The solution that we recommend for dealing with buddy punching is a time clock with a biometric fingerprint reader. This device helps to verify that the punching employee is who he or she claims to be. The employee enters his or her employee ID, then places his or her finger on the panel so the system can verify the individual’s identity prior to processing the punch.
How does the web kiosk work? Can you really use it on any device?
Yes! Basically, if you have access to the Internet, you can access the cloud-based web kiosk software. If you already own tablets or you prefer a certain type of hardware, the kiosk interface is completely adaptable. We even have clients using it on extra computer terminals that were available.
How many different types of time off can stratustime®’s accruals module handle? For example, I have vacation days, sick days, jury duty, bereavement, etc. Is there a cap?
There is no cap to the amount of types of time off you can track with stratustime. You can have as many or as few as you need, and time off types can be added at any time.
